What does the Bible say about warriors?
In my opinion, there are verses in the Bible that clearly state what the bible teaches about being a warrior. If you have read any book about the book of Acts, you will find many verses that talk about how the early church and followers of Jesus were warriors.
The book of Acts is a historically accurate account of how Jesus and his followers fought against pagans and the Romans during the reign of Tiberius. The book of Acts is also filled with the Epistle to the Hebrews teaching people about how they should honor the Sabbath day and not be polluted by what they do on that day. What does the Bible say about fighting for what’s right? What does the bible say about living by the sword? What does the bible say about what a warrior is?
The Book of Ruth tells the story of a woman who is saved from slavery by her master and taken as a captive to Moab. She is a very loyal and faithful wife who provides for her husband and children but she still loves and cares for her true love, Naomi the mother of the faithful. When she is sent to marry Boaz who is a warlord, she is not willing to submit to this new way of life. She considers herself a warrior because she is willing to fight for what is right even if it means dying.
There are many other verses in the New Testament book of Matthew, Mark, and Luke that talk about warriors. They all describe different ways to be a warrior. In the book of Revelation, the warrior appears again as an archangel and fights demons and the enemy without being killed. This is a very good lesson for us today because we can’t allow ourselves to be killed by our enemies and we have to defend ourselves.
Not only do we read about these warriors in the Bible, but we also find out that they have specific characteristics. In the book of Job, we read about a warrior named Satan who makes peace with every human being. He takes the form of a beautiful woman, the daughter of the King of Tyre, and he seduces the maid. When the maid tries to stop him, Satan flees her and takes her into his arms. He protects her and then binds her to a tent so that none can see her. He then lets her alone and says that if she worships him, he will protect her forever.
This is one of the most amazing things that happened when God Almighty created the world. The woman, Naomi, doesn’t know that she’s in deep with the enemy when she gives herself up to Naomi, the mother of Naomi. If you will notice, Naomi was married to Obed, the father of Aaron. When you get to the book of Nehemiah, you will see that Nehemiah is the father of Assyria. So, when we find that God uses different languages, it’s pretty obvious that he may have written different books.
It is interesting that we find that the people of Nineveh, in what the Bible calls the Desert of the Kings, went down to war against Israel. What does the Bible say about warriors? When the king of Nineveh sent his army to attack Israel, they came upon a rich man named Job.
When Job and the angels fought, the result was Job’s death. If you will notice, Job didn’t die for Nineveh, but rather for Satan. Now you can understand why we get angry when people kill their own ancestors. We need to be careful what we are doing and we need to be very careful who we associate ourselves with. So, when you hear what the bible says about warriors, you will be able to get prepared to be like Job.
